10 – Lorraine Broughton, Atomic Blonde
Charlize Theron is the only one who can finish the job. If someone ever tells you that there are no good female spy movies, just point them to the outstanding Atomic Blonde. During the Cold War, Theron’s character, Lorraine Broughton, an undercover elite MI6 agent, is dispatched to Germany to retrieve a list of double agents that have gone missing. Broughton is one of the only two female spies in our picks of top secret agents in movies.
9 – Harry Tasker, True Lies

Harry Tasker is our pick number 9 for the top secret agents in movies.
A badass spy movie can always be made with James Cameron directing an action comedy with Arnold Schwarzenegger portraying a secret agent. In the movie, Harry Tasker (Arnold) is extremely boring, but he really could hardly be more the opposite. He has been faking to be boring for so long that it is just who he is. He’s going to shake things up in order to win back his wife Helen and defeat America’s latest terrorist threat.
Did you know: True Lies was the first film with a production budget of over $100 million?
Harry’s wife Helen and daughter Dana believe he works at Tektel Systems as a nerdy computer salesperson. He has actually been a clandestine operative for 17 years in fact who is currently pursuing Abu Kaleem Malik, a fiercely fanatical terrorist responsible for car attacks in Rome and Lisbon.
Harry Tasker played by Arnold has to be one of the best secret agents in movies.
Did you know: While filming a scene with a horse, a camera boom hit the horse and it went crazy, spinning and rearing near a drop of 90 feet. Schwarzenegger quickly slid off the horse and a stuntman caught him.
8 – Napoleon Solo, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Solo is a fictional character that first appeared in the 1960s television spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Later, in 2015, Henry Cavill played the same role in the film adaptation of the same name.
Both the film and the television series have been notable for pairing the American spy Solo and the Russian Illya Kuryakin as two secret agents who collaborate against a mysterious criminal organization at the peak of the Cold War.
Solo has the same elegance, sophistication, competence, and weakness for beautiful women as James Bond. However, Solo, who has a laid-back demeanor, is much less aggressive and violent than the British Secret Service agent. He is our choice of the No.8 secret agents in movies.
